Hurricane Dennis Track Near NC
Hurricane Dennis started as TD #5 at
11 PM AST MON AUG 23 1999, became Tropical Storm Dennis at
2 PM AST TUE AUG 24 1999, and became Hurricane Dennis at 2
AM AST THU AUG 26 1999. It passed by the Carolina coast, moved to
the north, then looped back down south, and finally turned around to
hit eastern North Carolina. Landfall in Eastern NC was first reported
on the statement at 5 PM EDT SAT SEP 04 1999. Some links to
