Tropical Storm Celia passed close enough to Mexico in July 1998, to be picked up by the Mexican Radar System. The primary radar (a modernized radar) that picked it up was Las Cabos, Mexico. The eye of the storm can be seen on the radar as well as rotation in the loop.
